Studio November brings a distinctly British sensibility to New York interior design — unhurried, material-led, deeply considered. Founded in Oxford, England, our studio has built a reputation for transforming period properties and architecturally significant homes, and we bring that same rigour and restraint to projects in New York.

New York's architectural heritage is extraordinary. Pre-war apartment buildings on the Upper West and Upper East Side, Brooklyn brownstones, Tribeca loft conversions, and landmarked townhouses in the West Village each carry their own proportions, their own history, their own demands. We design interiors that are in conversation with that architecture rather than imposed upon it.

Our approach in New York is the same as in England,  we begin with the building, its bones, its light, its original details and build a scheme outward from there. We work with natural materials, considered colour, craftsmanship from both sides of the Atlantic, and furniture that earns its place in a room.

Studio November works on full home refurbishments, interior architectural projects, and detailed decorative schemes for residential clients in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and beyond. We manage projects remotely and in person, and have an established process for working with international clients.

If you have a New York property and are considering an interior design project, we would love to hear from you.
