House No. 14 in Richmond, London, was granted planning permission for the refurbishment and extension of an existing 1960s house situated in an open garden community. Studio November used the orientation of the existing site to inform the layout of the new extension which provided open plan living and an additional bedroom. The use of new architectural materials such as Danish Long Bricks and Cedar cladding were aimed to help the larger footprint blend into its surround landscape.
